QUESTION:August 13, 2012 9:25:51 AM
My daughter who is 15 is very interested in Volleyball. Her school offers very limited time for this sport and she wants to be part of a team/league. How do we go about this with your organization? We keep calling the number on the website and I only get an answering machine. I have questions on fees etc. Thank you, Paris.
Thank-you too, Paris. You submitted our first published question!
Your question came nine months ago, so I really hope you got through via telephone or email long ago!
MARC is always looking for new members, and it has always had a strong Women's Volleyball program.
Everyone is welcome at MARC at all times.
The best thing to do is to come and visit us at Trenholme Centre and see for yourself what we do. Attend a Volleyball practice as an observer and meet the coaches. You can ask any questions you have then. The training schedules can be found here.
Your daughter can probably participate in the training for a while to see if she likes it before you have to make any commitments. The important thing is for your daughter and you to come out and check us out.
Reaching MARC by telephone shouldn't be difficult, and we do try our best to be as accessible as possible. If your message was somehow lost or unanswered, we sincerely apologize for that.
The telephone at Trenholme Center can be called any evening except on Saturday. It may take a while for someone to answer, but there is almost always someone there practicing Volleyball. Ask to speak to the coach.
Our main contact email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
There are fees associated with MARC membership and participation in MARC programs, and we hope to publish the fee schedule on our website soon.
